Welder joining a steel assembly with sparks flying at the AV FAB.TECH fabrication workshop

MS & SS Fabrication

Engineering & Metal Fabrication

Gates, grills, stainless steel work, structural fabrication and roofing sheds — cut, welded and finished to the measurements taken at your site.

Engineering & Metal Fabrication

Fabrication built around your opening — not a catalogue size.

Most fabrication work fails for one reason: it was made to a standard size and forced to fit. We measure the opening first, agree the section and thickness with you, and fabricate to those figures.

That covers everything from a single window grill to a full compound gate, a stainless steel handrail or the structural frame and roofing for a shed — for homes, shops, offices and industrial sites.

Types of Work

Five fabrication trades, one workshop.

Each of these is handled in-house, so a job that needs more than one trade still runs to a single schedule.

Fabricated MS main gate with vertical bar infill at a compound entrance

01 / Gates

MS Gates

Main gates, side gates and sliding gates in mild steel, fabricated to the width and height of your compound wall and finished with primer and enamel or PU paint.

  • Swing and sliding gates
  • Sliding gate track & rollers
  • Perforated and bar infill
  • Gate frames for compound walls
  • Wicket gates
  • Primer + finish paint
MS window grill design options — vertical bar, square grid, horizontal slat and decorative ring patterns

02 / Grills

MS Grills

Window grills, balcony grills and safety grills fabricated from MS square tube, flat and round bar — plain or with a decorative pattern to suit the elevation.

  • Window safety grills
  • Balcony and staircase grills
  • Openable grills
  • Square tube and flat bar designs
  • Grill infill for gates
  • Wall-fixed or frame-fixed
Stainless steel fabrication processes — SS pipe and tube stock, sheet bending, perforated sheet, plasma cutting and TIG welding

03 / Stainless Steel

SS Fabrication

Stainless steel work where finish and corrosion resistance matter — handrails, railings, gates and frames in SS 202, 304 or 316 with a mirror or hairline finish.

  • Balcony and staircase railings
  • SS handrails
  • SS gates and frames
  • Glass-and-steel railings
  • Mirror / hairline finish
  • SS 202, 304 and 316
Structural steel fabrication — finishing a welded I-beam with bolted end plates in the fabrication shop

04 / General & Structural

Fabrication Work

General and structural fabrication — beams, columns, frames, platforms, ladders and one-off jobs made from a drawing, a sketch or a sample.

  • Structural steel frames
  • Beams, columns and trusses
  • Platforms, ladders and staircases
  • Machine and equipment frames
  • Repair and modification work
  • Made from drawing or sample
Completed steel shed interior — portal frame, purlins, roof sheeting and skylight panels over a workshop floor

05 / Roofing

Roofing / Shed Work

Sheds, car parks, terrace roofing and factory roofing — structural frame, purlins and sheeting, set out to the span and slope your site needs.

  • Industrial and godown sheds
  • Car park and two-wheeler sheds
  • Terrace and courtyard roofing
  • GI and colour-coated sheeting
  • Polycarbonate skylight panels
  • Gutters and rainwater fall

Materials & Specifications

Sections, sheet and finishes we work with.

Typical options — the exact section and thickness are fixed once the site measurement and load are confirmed.

Engineering & Metal Fabrication specifications
MS sections Square tube 20×20 to 50×50 mm, rectangular tube, angle, channel, flat and round bar
MS sheet 1 mm to 3 mm plain sheet; perforated and designer sheet for gate infill
Stainless steel SS 202 / 304 / 316 — pipe 25 mm to 50 mm, sheet 0.8 mm to 1.5 mm, mirror or hairline finish
Structural steel I-beam, H-beam, C and Z purlin, tube trusses — sized to span and load
Roof sheeting GI and colour-coated profile sheet 0.45 mm to 0.50 mm, polycarbonate skylight
Finishing Surface cleaning, red-oxide or zinc primer, enamel or PU top coat; powder coating on request
Joining MIG and arc welding, ground and finished at joints; bolted connections where required

Benefits

What you get from fabricated-to-fit steelwork.

01

Exact fit

Fabricated to the measured opening, so gaps, packing pieces and on-site cutting are avoided.

02

Right strength

Section and thickness chosen for the span and use, not the cheapest tube that will pass.

03

Longer life

Cleaned, primed and painted properly, which is what decides how a gate looks after three monsoons.

04

Single schedule

Gate, grill, railing and shed work run together instead of waiting on separate contractors.

Why AV FAB.TECH

Work that fits, first time.

Made to your measurements

Every gate, window and mesh panel is fabricated to the dimensions taken at your site — not cut down from a standard size.

Right material for the job

We advise the section, thickness and finish that suits your opening, budget and exposure, and confirm it before work starts.

Clean installation

Fitting, alignment and finishing are handled by our own team, so the work is left square, level and ready to use.

One point of contact

Fabrication, uPVC and mesh work are all handled in-house — you deal with one team from measurement to handover.
